Rosalind Solomon in conversation with 'This Place' curator Charlotte Cotton on 9/9 at SVA Theater, NYC

We are excited to announce tonight’s conversation between one of the impressive photographers of This Place Rosalind Solomon and the projects curator Charlotte Cotton.

The event is open to the public.

9/9/2014, 7 pm SVA Theater at 333 West 23rd Street

Photographer Rosalind Solomon presents a dramatic interpretation of the work in her latest book, THEM (Mack, 2014), accompanied by cellist Sam Im, and discusses her new work, which documents life in Israel and the West Bank in 2010 – 2011, with “This Place” curator and writer Charlotte Cotton.

Followed by a book signing and presented by SVA BFA Photography.

This Place was initiated by photographer Frederic Brenner, it explores the complexity of Israel and the West Bank, as place and metaphor, through the eyes of twelve internationally acclaimed photographers. The completed project consists of a traveling exhibition, companion publications and a program of live events.
