Surveying the hidden corners of China’s desolated landscapes

End of Ashes, is a fascinating exploration of empty spaces all over China.

Chinese photographer Hua Weicheng’s went from Chongqing to Hunan via Beijing, Inner Mongolia, Gansu and elsewhere carrying the beloved camera of 80’s documentary photographers, the Plaubel Makina W67.
