The military is exploring many ways to use drones, this includes intelligence gathering and anti-submarine warfare.
A shelter attached to the top of the USS North Dakota submarine was used to launch the Hydroid-manufactured Remus 600 drone. This drone can be equipped with several video cameras, GPS, and solar energy.
